Person / 001
ALWAYS
LOOKING AHEAD.
Entrepreneur · Investor · Foresight Strategist
Much of my career has been driven by one question:
What comes next?
Understanding change has taken me from engineering to entrepreneurship, research, advisory, education, investment and the creation of new businesses.

Story / 001
IT STARTED
WITH CURIOSITY.
An engineer by training and an entrepreneur by vocation, I soon found myself less interested in describing how things worked than in understanding how they could change.
That interest led me to study emerging behaviours, consumers, technologies, markets and social transformations long before many of them were obvious.
What began as curiosity became a way of working.
LOOK FOR THE SIGNAL.
UNDERSTAND THE CHANGE.
ACT BEFORE IT BECOMES OBVIOUS.
Evolution / 001
FROM COOLHUNTING
TO FUTURE INTELLIGENCE.
Coolhunting was the starting point. For years it taught me to observe emerging signals, identify new behaviours and understand how people, markets and industries change.
Over time that way of observing evolved. It was no longer only about spotting trends. It was about understanding what they meant for a company, what could happen next and which decisions had to be made.
That evolution became Future Intelligence.

Build / Entrepreneur
I LEARN BY
BUILDING.
Entrepreneurship has always been one of the ways I test ideas against reality. Building companies forces you to make decisions, allocate resources, understand people, respond to markets and live with the consequences.
Today I continue creating businesses and projects around structural transformations I believe will shape the coming years.
Strategy becomes very different when your own capital, reputation and time are involved.
Invest / Perspective
CAPITAL FOLLOWS
CONVICTION.
Investing is another way of expressing a view of the future. I am interested in companies, assets and projects where structural change can create long-term opportunity.
Technology, longevity, education, hospitality, real estate and new business models are some of the areas I continue to explore.
I prefer understanding why something could matter in ten years to predicting what it will do next quarter.
FI / Advisory
THINKING ALONGSIDE
PEOPLE WHO DECIDE.
Some of the most interesting work happens away from presentations and public stages. It happens in conversations with CEOs, founders and boards trying to understand what is changing and what they should do next.
My role is not to make the decision for them. It is to bring perspective, evidence, questions and independent judgement to the room.
FI / Research
CURIOSITY
NEEDS EVIDENCE.
Research has been a constant throughout my career. Across hundreds of projects and industries, I have worked to understand how technology, society, consumers, markets and organisations evolve.
For me, research is not the destination. It is the foundation for better questions.
Ideas / 001
IDEAS BECOME
MORE VALUABLE
WHEN SHARED.
Speaking and writing force ideas to become clearer. They create the discipline to explain complexity simply, challenge assumptions and connect seemingly unrelated changes.
Speaking
Conversations about business, leadership and what comes next.
Writing
Books, essays and published ideas.
Research
Evidence behind the ideas.
Person / Principles
Three verbs define most of my work.
BUILD.
Create companies, projects and ideas.
INVEST.
Back opportunities with long-term potential.
ADVISE.
Help people who make decisions see what may come next.
Beliefs / 001
A FEW THINGS
I BELIEVE.
THE FUTURE IS NOT SOMETHING TO PREDICT.
It is something to prepare for.
CURIOSITY IS A BUSINESS ADVANTAGE.
The best opportunities often begin with better questions.
INFORMATION IS NOT INTELLIGENCE.
What matters is knowing what matters.
EXPERIENCE SHOULD CREATE JUDGEMENT.
Not certainty.
BUILDING CHANGES HOW YOU THINK.
Ideas become more useful when reality can reject them.
THE LONG TERM MATTERS.
Especially when everyone else is focused on the next quarter.

Now / 2026
STILL
LOOKING AHEAD.
Today I continue exploring the same question through new companies, investments, Future Intelligence systems, research and conversations with people building what comes next.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
BEYOND
THE WORK.
Work matters to me, but it is not the only thing that does. I value curiosity, independence, good conversations, learning from people outside my own world and leaving enough space to notice things.

FI / Future Intelligence
THE QUESTION
REMAINS THE SAME.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
And what should we do about it?
